About Me

From listening to sound effects records and recording homemade radio plays in elementary school, to playing with a new soft synth today, as long as I can remember I’ve been interested in audio. At the Evergreen State College, I helped write record reviews for OP Magazine, was Music Director at KAOS-fm, programmed a music show and hosted call-in talk/interview show. I played in an electronic duo that annoyed the hippies and a sort-of-country band that annoyed the punks. A couple songs were released on cassette by K records. In Seattle I worked at Muzak and SubPop records. Eventually, I landed at Humongous/Atari where I edited and recorded sound effects, music, dialog and cast characters for a number of award winning Junior Adventure and Backyard Sports games. I've also contributed music to the student film "Nighters" and scored the film "Sex Ray". My musical influences and interests are varied. Lately I’ve been listening to the Library of Congress Jelly Roll Morton box set, the Meters, Planet of the Apes Soundtrack, the Poppy Family and Patrick Saussois.
